I mean even with exercising , it’s important to have rest days to let your muscles recover . I see art the same way I guess . and for me at least it’s an important part of the process in refilling my creative bucket so I can keep watering my metaphorical plants

I don’t think drawing every single day is bad , but I also dont subscribe to the notion that u must force yourself to draw every day in order to improve in art . while I maintain that discipline over motivation is the true key to improving ur skill set , I don’t think much can be gained without rest

my week of tummy hurting , emotions , and video games has come to an end and was very fulfilling and restorative in its own way and I am ready to be an artist again
