I'm thinking the special material is Kawaki's black rods, because chakra receiver stuff and the sword turned black. Momoshiki is a black rod user too, so it might be even stronger with karma available if that is the case.

His criminal brand is even turned into branding, an evil owned by Neo Domino, the citizens of Iliaster, while Aki is Arcadia, an alternative to their society. A rival, it could be said, is even worse than a criminal. So they will side with their own darkness rather than accept someone else's light.

Yugioh 5Ds, more social stratification stuff. Yusei is a criminal within society, an upstart who doesn't know his place, they understand it. Aki is something outside sense, a witch beyond the rules, and so below even a criminal. They'd root for a familiar evil than understand an unfamiliar innocent.

Per Boruto, Ten Tails isnt be picky about the information it absorbs. While it's source is the function to consume, the specifics of Mamushi's instincts should then derive from Bug, same as the others. But, those instincts aren't love, despite the charm, so what was Bug feeling for Ada, I wonder?

Yugioh OCG stories. I'm 60% sure the god Aposso is talking about is Aleister. He received a revelation, a prophecy, and his description of the world is similar to Crowley's magic, reading the flow. Crowley is the core of the books of prophecy and the closest being to a god with his summoning magic.

Ofc, to Isshiki the power of the Otsutsuki is itself the realization of the dream. To the "empty" Kawaki, simply being filled is enough to make that dream real. Or so Isshiki thinks, because that has been the case with Isshiki himself, who can be said to just be a vessel to receive chakra fruits.

But people need to endure until their dreams are realized. As an Otsutsuki Isshiki wouldn't get this. It's parallel to Boruto and Momoshiki.

Bommer is also Yusei's mirror. His hometown was created, probably by one of Rex' predecessors to support and serve the people of the stars. Just like Satellite was created to serve Neo Domino. He is a dark warrior from another "Satellite," so he understands this land's stratification is the same.

It's really basic but it does get me every time he's called Otsutsuki Boruto. Usually it's Jura saying it too, who doesn't know any other truth. That's just who he is to him, a sacrificial Otsutsuki to consume.

It's also interesting to me that breaking open Luca's mind is doing something similar to Lua's. Whether it's a physical connection as twins, a familial bond as siblings, or something resulting from him also being present for her coma, they seem to be connected by some shared wavelength.

In Gx there was an idea that since Dark World connected physical and spirit worlds, wishes in the heart could become real. Because mind and spirit are the same. I think this episode is saying something similar, the spirit world is in the mind, and breaking Luca's mind open is how it's reached. #5ds

Episode 1 ends with Yusei looking towards the light from the shadow. Episode 2 starts with Jack in the reverse. Jack was born in the land of the dark but came to live in the land of light, while Yusei was born in the land of light and came to live in the land of the dark. #5ds #yugioh
