My highly untrained and untooled attempt at flax fiber extraction. It was technically successful.
Tho most of what I got out of it was learning how to do better in the future (and also grow the right variety)

The universe has one hell of a way to introduce irony into my life
I was struggling to get up a light of stairs because chronic pain is a bitch, and OF COURSE people far older than me who were behind me asked if I was ok
I had to explain that despite my appearance my body is ancient and crumbling
