Lillie was glad her mother was working toward getting better now. It was going to take time for full forgiveness. But she's glad she gave her mother another chance.

(+) The woman felt as if she was finally starting to learn to forgive herself while it was far from over but she's a little better now compared to before. So many things she's going through are starting to get resolved thus deciding to go with the flow. Time heals everything, after all.

She was surprised by the sudden hug. But hesitantly returned it to her mother. Her greatest wish was to be a family again her, Gladion, and her mother. There was a lot her mother had to do make up for what she did. But right now she needed comfort. +
She had completely lost it when Lillie was willing to give her a chance despite the things she've done to her past. She found herself hugging her, bawling her eyes out.
