it's also my intention to try and get several chapters ahead before i start publishing again. i want to give myself some leg room, and this doesn't feel unachievable at this point which is nice ig!

also i'm still not close to finishing but i'm feeling good about mentally sorting out where I'm headed so i can visualise what need to be done more and have everything be a lot more digestible for me to deal with. and also, frankly, for people to read.

it means i'm fully scrapping my original 12 chapter plan, and no longer overthinking structure so much. the story just is going to be what it is (a FIC) which can be as long and rambly as it needs to be.

This was June's effort, which is certainly not Nothing! Despite how busy I've been. 5,565 new words, taking my total for the year word count up to 43,990 new words.

like it appeared after she heard about him jumping into an icy pond to save his brother from drowning and partially lost his hearing for it & she's intrigued and compelled but then she accidentally sees him standing up to Danbury that day and it cements what type of person he is to her and it's OVER
