This is my latest attempt at M16 - Pillars of Creation. Due to its position in the sky, the time of year & neighbouring buildings, I can only capture around 1.5 hours of data in any one session. This image is a result of 19 300sec subs stacked and processed with Siril. #Astrophotography #astronomy 🔭

My handsome chap enjoying the late afternoon sun. And they say black cats aren't photogenic. I beg to differ.♥️ Black Cats. #blackcats

The time has come to allow the attacking players to attack and the defensive players to defend. Team assuming Didzy and Jatta are out. #Nottscounty #COYP

Making the most of what was probably the last meaningful opportunity to capture photons before the lighter night skies fall upon us. I captured 42 300sec subs of IC1848 Soul Nebula. Stacked & processed using Siril. GraXpert for background extraction and noise reduction #Astrophotography #astronomy 🔭

My chosen target last night - NGC281 Pacman Nebula.
SW 72ed refractor, asi533mc camera, SW EQM-35 Mount, ZWO ASIAIR plus. 48 X 300 sec subs stacked and processed with Siril and GraXpert. #Astrophotography #astronomy 🔭

I'm multi-tasking tonight. While I'm collecting more data of the Rosette Nebula, I've set up the ASI224MC as a sky. Good luck to all those imaging tonight. camera. #Astrophotography #astronomy 🔭

When the skies are clear, satellites get in the way. And when they've gone, aircraft photo bomb the frame. Oh the joys of astrophotography. #astronomy #Astrophotography 🔭

Just waiting for the sun to set and the sky to clear. With the absence of the moon, tonight's intended target is the Witches Head nebula. Good luck to everyone else who is imaging tonight. #Astrophotography #astronomy 🔭

Another image from earlier this month. Using the 533MC-Pro on my 72ed refractor, I managed to capture 5 hours of data from IC1396 Elephants Trunk nebula. 🔭

Not to pass up a clear night, albeit with an almost full moon and the descending mist, I managed to get 3 hours of data of M81 and M82. Stacked and processed using @siril.org with noise reduction and background extraction using GraXpert. 🔭 #Astrophotography #astronomy

It was nice to have clear skies last night enabling the capture of photons from the wonderful DSOs which hide in the darkness of space. Using the 533MM-Pro on my 72ed refractor, I managed to get just under 4.5 hours of data from M31. And just over 3 hours for IC443. 🔭 #Astrophotography #astronomy
