We're so, so lucky to have federal "help." This guy is highly unlikely to be from Rhode Island cuz if he was his Nonna, ex-girlfriend and 2 kids from his 6th grade parochial school basketball team would have id'ed him by now.

I'm hoping you're bringing the dirt apples to Christmas dinner.

After watching, I would classify this as "quirky-senior-Gen X'er -rates-games" category. The man's got good taste. Rock on, I say.

No judgment. However avoid the Corn Dippers, a large and very delicious frito like product. There is no turning back from these. I'm the lady w/4 of them in my basket when I go.

Great thread! Thanks for sharing. I'm in the season of "enough" and I know it's just a season, no guarantees. I try to share the "enough" concept w/others, b/c we are sold and sold to, all day long. Many have never even considered it, no matter the income. Also, big yes to home/car maintenance!

We practice child sacrifice now (a/k/a school shootings) as the price to be paid to worship at the altar of the false god of the 2nd Amendment. Nobody's talking about that, it's all just thoughts and prayers.

Totally understand. Recommend a seam ripper, can be purchased where fabric or crafts are sold, let's you pull out each stitch until the tag comes out completely.

On Bloomberg news (radio) some older dude kept complimenting another dude for his short bio, "lives in Brooklyn, his children are well behaved" and contrasting it w/the bios of women, "16 paragraphs!". No kidding, old dude. We are constantly having to prove our credibility.🤦‍♀️

Donated at the food pantry-packed w/people, young moms & LOTS of old people & everything in b/w. Great pantry, clients get to "shop" w/a little cart, lots of volunteers in the back. But they are strapped. Sent cash, going back w/req'd breakfast food. My ❤️ hurts but it helps to share, glad u could 2.

I think an overlooked issue in this "pressure campaign" against Dems is that a lot of these union members are triple Trumpers. Are the unions pressuring the right party??

Interesting data from the US military during draft for World War 2. Lots of draftees had chronic sequelae of (Depression era) child malnutrition including low IQ, short stature, poor dentition, bone weakness. Child malnutrition rolls out over a lifetime.

I'm going w/a local farm cheese product, wrapped in organic paper. All joking aside, these folks make most community events run, get playgrounds built & the beach picked up. Couldn't (& wouldn't want to) live w/o their earnest faces handing me a petition every time I go to the market.

Also, serious, believing New Testament scholars do not find "the rapture" as described in the Left Behind series anywhere in the Bible. Just sayin...

That's me! Love a baby, love to tell parents how beautiful their baby is. I smile and chat w/complete baby strangers at every chance.

I think a lot about Lech Walesa, a Polish union electrician who led the movement that ended communist rule in Poland.
A leader, almost exclusively a man, often w/military experience, not an officer, respected by peers, underestimated by ruling party, can bring about a LOT of change. 🕊️

Heck, yeah! Sometimes, when i am complimented on a piece of clothing, I say, "Thanks, you are in luck. You will be seeing this for years!"

Yes! I think of this genre as domestic-near-future sci fi. You know, where there are meals to be made & kids to be cared for. The stuff that will actually happen... It's why I have always loved the Parable of the Sower.
