Sorry but there is no exception in the 1st amendment for software programming. I am sure no AI platform is making the claim that use of their software constitutes medically valid therapy, as that would leave them wide open to lawsuits. The point remains that people who want validity will find it.

Simple. Software is text, interaction with AI is text (or voice to text). Why do you think the freedom of speech would not apply to the design of software? Like almost everything, AI can be abused but we don’t torch the 1st Amendment because mental illnesses exist.

True, in the sense that with a little twisting of the language, you can get AI to agree to anything. Those who desire to trick themselves in to believing they are making the right decision will succeed. This is not an AI issue.

If this was really about “protecting the precious children” the law would be written entirely differently. Why not make it a crime for an adult to knowingly provide minors with unfiltered internet devices and pay for their unfiltered access? My rights are not forfeit because you are a shitty parent.

Is anyone challenging these voucher programs as a blatant violation of the separation of church and state? Taxpayers shouldn’t be required to fund the flat earth academy.
