I recently revamped this art project for a festival that happened a few weeks back. My friends made the structure and interactivity and I did the lights! I really like these aquarium crystals as refracting diffusers!

my first seven functional prototype hexas in enclosure. i lucked out that seven is a complete hexagonal number. hat tip to @sequoia.farm for help with the front case design!

So in the meantime I redesigned my hexagon controller so that it fits neatly in the corner on the back of the hexa, leaving room for a nice large rectangular battery that can fit compactly inside a case.

new microscope just dropped, here's the ws2812b 1010s.
what? the mosfet is messy and appears to have been rotated? no nevermind that it's fine nevermind that now look the pixel package is so transparent u can see right through it
