I've read so much vitriol be thrown around between the BTTF actors and director in interviews over the years, I'd take everything they say with a grain of salt.
Sadly it seems like almost everyone hated each other a little bit in the set and never got over it.

It's baffling and infuriating how so many stupid "discourses" and dogpiles are caused by grownass adults not being able to handle seeing someone or something they disliked on the internet and wanting to make it into a moral issue.

I'm going to be even more cynical and say that a lot of it also comes down to grown ass adults not being able to handle the feeling of "person I follow interacts with person I dislike and I *need* to break up their relationship to feel better about myself"
