A country with so much wealth disparity that 50% of the people already face food insecurity, while a tiny minority of super wealthy control the government agenda, is unlikely to make it through a depression/ "great recession" peacefully.

I failed to mention, Belarus also exports Potash. Trump is ending sanctions against fellow axis countries, and raising tarrifs against NATO.

1/ I don't think it matters. Shooting at people who can't shoot back, hide, or run away, is murder.

They have to. Otherwise they'd see Norway and Saudi Arabia have multi trillion dollar sovereign wealth funds, while Alberta has wealthy ex-politicians.

I can't stop laughing: Alberta sees thr Liberals who built a pipeline as anti-oil, and the UCP who cancelled 5000 oil tanker rail cars as pro oil.

But I find even more worrying assuming that's possible is that as the fate of the Free World is being decided, the US is sitting with Russia, opposing the NATO allies & Ukraine.

The f35 has become so expensive to fly, that we'll need a second fighter type just to avoid bankrupting ourselves.
If we could have an air force of both types, we could do NORAD & low threat missions with the Gripen & save the F35 for raids that require stealth.
