I was also debating the ethics of viken carving on a pumpkin and whether viken can talk to pumpkins like plants. After much thinking, viken can only talk to plants, NOT fruits, vegetables, squashes, spices, or anything that is edible for human consumption +

- Soule SUCKS at pumpkin carving (me too). But the thing is, he tried! And that's Soule's greatest strength: determined enough to complete the job
- Viken loves Soule enough to carve an image of him on a pumpkin (even if it means the pumpkin will straight up rot in like five days) +

- Eugene would be a pretty good pumpkin carver (probably all those sword slashing practices made him efficient and precise at cutting out shapes in a pumpkin)
- Avys would carve an image of himself! originally it would've been a bird, but this was funnier +

- Part 3- starts off angry but later views his constant nightmares like a video game in which he respawns. With that perspective, he takes advantage of his constant life revival and goes "survival mode" and acts out different plans
- He meets and tries to communicate with Eternity Girl

Personal headcanons for this rewrite:
- Part 1- is focused on understanding his situation, tries to talk to the dragon by the end of part 1
- Part 2- becomes depressed and tired (obvious info: he sees star one d3ad and feels hopeless about his situation)
