Live this movie, especially Hermione Baddely as “the brass”. The novel is a very good read.

Where were the Villa Primavera apts? I have read several books by Dorothy B. Hughes and they are very site-specific. Several murders in the book take place on the California Incline and it really makes me want to see pics of it from 1948.

Also that movie was huge to me when it came out. I was going through tough times with some family members and I would go watch The Turning Point and Coming Home back to back to get away from things. Looking forward to listening to the podcast about it this weekend.

Yeah someone did that with info for the NRA back in the mailing days. A couple sharp (pre-paid postage) replies stopped that short.

Would love to send you a fun cut I did of marrying footage from The Three Musketeers with Singin’ in the Rain, how they replicated and actually used footage from Musketeers.

Mike Johnson will never bring up the vote. The Dems had better get good at messaging (something they NEVER master) and make sure every red voter whose rates are skyrocketing knows exactly why.

I love this movie so much. It’s sharp, funny and not afraid to be sentimental. And those actors, oh, those actors!
