At 50 I quit pounding nails for a living and went to law school. It was exactly hard enough to just make it through. I gave the valedictory. Seeing the state of “Justice” here and now is precipitating a second “midlife crisis”. My educated contempt for Scalia has ballooned into wide contempt.
