It's deadly folly to trust standards of femininity made by murderous bigots in general, especially by those who've tried to murder women for having short haircuts, but deadly folly appears to be a big kink for a lot of people.

Not so long story short, wicked Bishop Hatto's peasants face starvation, and, in retaliation to being asked to share some of his grain he's hoarding, he tricks them in order to burn them alive. Their ghosts come back as a horde of ravenous mice who chase him to the Mouse Tower and eat him alive.
