Hate to jump on the conspiracy bandwagon but this exact thought crossed my mind too... pretext to send military to every blue city and disrupt elections since people are seeing through the bullshit "over run with crime" narrative. A liberal assassinatiom ring though? MAGA will eat that shit up.

Going to politely disagree, as a former Marine who has personally hit center mass from 500 yards with nothing more than a rear sight and front sight post, 200 is pretty easy for someone with experience shooting. See annual marksman requirements here:

Tariffs don't just hurt the country they are applied to, they hurt the companies and people who import goods from them. When we are talking about 50%, 100% or higher tariffs this can quickly destroy businesses and entire industries.
