We will see what happens. Trying to tuck away funds in case social security is defunded. We could probably get by quite well in Portugal or Spain or Mexico on our Social Security and retirement. But without SSS, we would be hard pressed to get by anywhere. Being old has limits.

It's a possibility. We don't want to lose our marriage. My husband has family that would be difficult for him to leave. That's not an issue for me.

I am ashamed of the country where I live. Wish we could find an attic in a friend's house in Europe where we could hide.
