And back to business. Have three color wheels to finish, one to draft, a small one to make from scratch. And a humongous box of paints (100 colors!) to tackle not sure yet on what scale even.

Time to bite the bullet and figure out Brit’s fascination with David Hockney. Not my favorite artist, so I’ve borrowed four books from the library to try and understand the phenomenon.

I’ve just spent my last credit at Audible 😭

I’m very happy with Libro.fm and Libby app.

But quitting Audible is hard. They have the largest catalog by far and produce so many books. It’s been a couple of months for me and I still miss it so much, even when using above mentioned apps every day.

Another Caran D’Ache color wheel in the making. Saves a bit of time looking up same colors on other Caran D’Ache color schemes I’ve done previously. A lot of matches with pastel pencils (I’m currently making).

We have Heytea opened in our area.

After initial mayhem we’ve braved a short queue to find out what’s all the fuss is about and… it’s the bestest bubble tea I’ve ever tried.

I could never imagine matcha latte taste so good. The cheese cloud is like liquid cheese cake.

New comfort food unlocked.

Set of Flashe paints growing nicely!

I’ve decided to get more colors including mixed pigments. I use this paint as background for pencils and crayons so that’s not an issue.

Neon blue paint meh.

Fluorescent paints, in this range at least, feel oily and unruly, especially compared to the rest opaque matte colors. Red is okay, green and blue not so much.

Wonder if it’s true for another brands.

Still, looking forward to using this sketchbook for sunny days to come!

Preparing summer sketchbook, I’m almost out of pages in the spring one.

Discovered these paints by chance in my wonderful local shop and no doubt in my mind will get them all. Love neons for backgrounds to use with pencils and Neocolors.
Great for sketchbooking.

Had a great day out at the Mull of Galloway lighthouse area.

Currently enjoying using vibrant neon backgrounds in my sketchbook. I’m just letting my love of colors shine. And it’s wonderful to embrace all things vibrant and bright.

Almost there with the Polychromos pencils. Final adjustments seem to take so long.

I have three very exciting sets to play with after I’m done with this one. Need to get it done, but so many placements bug me.
