Just got hit with some depressing health news, and also just found out that the artist, Kevin J. Taylor, died back in October. So, 2025 starting off rough.

He was a massive influence on me and a translation from his Spanish Obituary really hit me hard. His work elevated, and I respected it.

One day in, and I've got about 1/10th of my follower count from Twitter. hopefully I can actually get the numbers back up sooner than later after all. I'm already liking this place more thanks to the lack of bot followers.

This was a personal drawing that wound up being the basis for a character in a comic I've been trying to work on. Figured I'd put up the full spectrum of stages the drawing took. I'm still not sure if I like the colors better before I did the final touches. I think I go over the top sometimes.

I'm an avid fighting game player and I grew up heavily on Capcom games. Bengus/Akiman/Nishimura Kinu, all the greats of that era were big influences on me as a teen. These are pretty old drawings now, but I still like them.

Continuing to post some older art to add to this place. This was me going back to an old design that was originally a random commission. Got permission to make her an OC that I've named Gemma. Hoping to draw her more soon.

I guess an added side benefit of starting up this account is that I will get to see how many likely bots are following me on twitter.
