Sheryl & Russell greet me every morning, "Can we haz peanuts now?" and follow my car home in case there'll be more coming their way. Added benefit to being buds with a mated pair is how it keeps the noisy flock away. They don't tolerate interlopers on their turf.

You can't trust a news agency when their reporters can vent their personal opinion spleens with impunity.

Normally a comment such as yours would only come from a new Canadian. It's remarkable an American would even know there's an election happening, let alone be paying attention to it.

If the anti-protocol blue suit wasn't screaming "look at me!" enough, then he sits in the front row catching flies.

I've never seen either series with a dust jacket! Nor a blue-bound Nancy Drew; I think the book industry's different north of the 49th. We're a pretty dogmatic bunch up this way ;)

Definitely Hardy Boys! You might recall the Nancy Drew books have yellow bindings.

Me, until the specific location was revealed. The irony was just too perfect for it to have been random.

Such fine people. The best people.

I'd sooner gouge out my own eyes.

Agree! A movie where not much action happens, a lot happens! Plus it's visually arresting!

Is this Schrodinger's elephant?
December 17, 2024 at 1:54 AM
Canadian here- you are absolutely correct.
December 17, 2024 at 1:44 AM
No they won't. Poilievre will never stop blaming Trudeau.

When I was much younger this very old patient of mine once told me, "You're the last one to know you're old," and for the most part I've found this to be true. We are who we think we are, which is ageless.

Sarcasm: the lowest form of wit but the highest form of intelligence (the picture made the sarcasm abundantly clear, even to this non-american).
