That is what usually happens.😟 The thing is, once you establish a friendlier tone, those who aren't completely brainwashed, begin to give a BIT.
I make a point to talk about things other than politics with them. Then, sneak a little in. It is work, but it's important to try, I think.

I understand. I do. I think very bad thoughts sometimes.
But, truth is, in order to turn this around, we have to reach across the aisle to catch the ones who " come to" because we will need their votes.
We need to be bigger people than they are. 🤷
And we also need to make some "good " trouble too.

I actually made a friend with one..and no, we don't agree. But, I'm hopeful that maybe someday I can make headway..he DOES think bringing the Tate bros here was very sketchy..bad.
Right now, they are rabidly in favor of him. Only one exception...a vet with big regrets. I feel for him. 😟
