Former forest ranger, small town news reporter, paralegal, maintanence engineer - Whatever, I've probably done it but it wasn't my fault. I believe in a higher power but I'm not sure about their address, and I'm politically independent & moderate...so far.
Yes.

All true Ezra.

But should this really surprise anyone, given the almost complete absence of any coordinated plan for basic reforms??

If "just winning" is the entire focus for Dems and for grassroots opposition like Indivisible, we'll all end up in the same ditch with MAGA hacks.

I'm going to keep saying it :
Indivisible cannot succeed as a true opposition movement if its whole strategy is built around Democratic party drama.

Give us a plan that can fundamentally reform government at every level, & return power to the People - or risk evetything we've accomplished so far.

Okay. So, another politician with sketchy principles & a record of dubious compromises who's stayed in power too long.

Add him to the list of eight other gutless Dems who've screwed their constituents & the rest of the country, and what do we have - the next Game of Thrones?

I'm not playing this.

Unfortunately, you could be right.

I can think of a handful who still have courage, integrity and common sense. But right now as a party, Dems no longer stand for anything.

And I believe it's time for Indivisible, 50-50 1 & other opposition groups to stop treating midterms like our only hope.

Yeah. That was yesterday.

Today there was another disaster that Senate dems made for themselves, and for everyone who trusted them.

But these youtube hacks keep their "breaking news" focused on the Trump newsfeed, and miss the harder stories that we need to follow.

So we move the deck chairs, while the ship keeps sinking ??

How will "new leadership" make any difference if they continue to prop up a broken system ?

Sorry, but I didn't get in this fight just to rescue Dems who've forgot how to save themselves. Either start talking real reforms or I'm out.

To every Democrat struggling to make sense of this failed outcome after 40 days of struggle & hope - My sympaties & my respect.

But frankly, as an independent I saw this coming. This betrayal of principle in favor of process is one reason I left the party over 30 years ago, & will stay an outsider.
November 11, 2025 at 3:03 AM
Yes. Time for change.

But I have to say again : For all the hard work done & everything you've accomplished, this movement should not & cannot continue as just an extension of the DNC.

We have to look beyond the midterms & outside the Dems for real reforms & independent candidates who will fight.

Right.

And that's been the law for 29 years, since it passed with support from Republicans AND Dems in both houses - and was signed by President Clinton in 1996.

Don't let anyone forget, and don't stop fighting. Thanks for standing strong Patty.

Got it, thanks.

I'm curious about when they'll factor in state-level political spending, and how they track contributions by employees, but this looks interesting and worth checking out as a guide 👍

NO ! ✊️

Choose your own time - others will decide too.

Back in March, no one thought we could turn out over 7 million in one day. Movements begin & grow when each individual realizes they're not alone.

Right on - Sign up for those shifts 👍

I know Ezra, Leah, & local Indivisible leaders are working strategies that will give everyone a chance to make contribute & make an impact.

This is just one idea I think can be an option, for anyone with a paycheck - Cancel federal income tax withholding using the option on form W4 :

Agreed.

And here again is my own list of actions Indivisible members, or anyone else can use to decide their own tactics :

•Organize.
•Resist.
•Find the facts.
•Speak the truth.
•Respect each other, and demand respect from those who represent us.
•Committ to the long hard job of repairing the damage done by years of neglect & corruption.
•And make new & stronger rules that protect a better future for everyone.
