The display panels were installed in time for the formal opening, by the Principal, of a new facility at the School of Medicine in honour of medical alumnus John Forfar (1916-2013). Manon also researched the military and medical career of Dr Forfar, and created a biographical panel about him. (2/3)

A new installation on ‘Medical alumni in history’ has been unveiled at the School of Medicine. It was designed and installed by our recent PhD graduate – and historian of medicine – @manoncwilliams.bsky.social, and features notable alumni from 19th and 20th century St Andrews. (1/3)

‘Money and the Making of the American Revolution’ by our very own Andrew Edwards is available for order now, ahead of its publication in December! This book is both an ambitious new interpretation of the Revolution and a fascinating story about the power of economic ideas. (1/2)

The Department of Medieval History at the University of St Andrews invites applications for the Donald Bullough Fellowship to be taken up during either semester of the academic year 2026-2027.
