You really don't need TV anymore. Not that it matters, AEW is a perennial top 10 cable show since day 1, there's a network out there that will happily pay them if TNT won't.

I was sitting ringside and watched it happen, there was so much going on I couldn't remember who had the bag, but I remember seeing the tacks all land outside the cage lol

Not sure, there were supposed to be thumb tacks too, but whoever it was that brought them to the ring accidentally flung the bag in such a way that all of the tacks ended up outside the cage.

And by catering to their core audience, they're actually able to appeal to new fans. Seems like every week I'm seeing posts about people giving AEW a try and enjoying what they see. Being consistent is all they need to do.
