focused on deregulation and token foreign policy wins when Americans were concerned about losing their jobs and savings. It's a bad look to tell Americans to wear a sweater a month into office and then leave with double digit inflation, another recession, & an oil crisis regardless of intentions.

Jimmy Carter was bad but from the left. While he's certainly less twisted than Reagan and unlike so many post presidencies he actually used his to do good, while in office the man didn't at all care for working class americans struggling from stagflation and unemployment that ranged from 7-9%.
