Running the ball hasn’t been a huge problem. To your point, though, we’ve completed now one pass beyond the LOS. Need to stop throwing behind it.

Our run game started to work because we actually had a passing threat with Brousseau in there. His quick release made second and third levels hesitate/play back. Felt like we started playing football vs trying to be cute and force things.

HCJN has talked so much about how competition at each position helps prevent starters from becoming complacent, players working for jobs, etc… not sure why that doesn’t apply to the QB.
