I suspect Zuckerberg’s decision is because Meta have been unable to get automated censorship to work properly.

This is such an about face by Zuckerberg. His platforms have been some of the most ardent censors. I have had really innocuous content removed from Instagram. I respond by posting the takedown notice and ridiculing it. The only recourse I have.

It depends on how close to each other they are. And some other factors, like ambient temperature, target MTBF etc.

I have seen this with other wealthy people. They reach a point where the acquisition of wealth is an end in itself and they don’t have time or reason to spend it. They forget to live.
