4) Sebastian loves Salty but he doesn’t stay for just love alone. Being with Salty means to be committed, stay in a routine, enforce boundaries and to have a tough skin.

3) He had a very promiscuous life when he was younger and had 100+ partners atp. So he’s use to hearing the same “I can handle it” or “I love you” before they inevitably leave him for being too much. Out of all of them Sebastian (monkey) is the only one to tell him the opposite.

2) Salty(fish) has severe undiagnosed BPD and in their world mentel health disorders isn’t recognized and has no professionals to treat it. So everyone just chalks Salty up to as someone who’s just a bad person.

1) I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, my knowledge about BPD is what I could gather from research. I do not have BPD myself so I'm limited on experience. I tried my best to write their relationship that fits into the story, my OCs do not reflect 100% on ppl with BPD.
