I don’t need to signal success like that. The work speaks for itself. I show my success in other ways… like a really nice computer chair. Besides, I’m an introvert engineer. Who was I going to talk to?

This was a party for gorgeous people in tight shirts. There were no hoodies. No industry swag shirts. This wasn’t celebrating the work - it was a party for tourists celebrating that they are successful from the work done years ago by folks like me.

I slipped out, good for them but not my style.

It was always a confusing transition on Tesla’s FSD. My brain says “When I take over all autonomous driving features become disabled.” This isn’t the case, I’d love to see that - even as a lever to pull.

It is not a coincidence that the Texas national guard is being deployed, illegally. Not everyone in Texas is a MAGA cultist but it does show that the national guard in Texas needs to be held accountable. Any guardsman willfully executing illegal orders needs to be held accountable.

Gimme that SETI swag. If at home was still a thing Id be pumping an absolute metric ton of compute into the project. Sadly I don’t get to see the wiggly graphs anymore.

This is at least the final polish. Every weekend I’ve spend about 10 hours working on this since I bought it. Cheaper than getting a shop to do it. May be a waste of time if I have to lemon law it. :(
