Well, this no knead recipe is not sourdough, but the bread makes old men cry, and leaves you plenty of time to write. I’ve been doing it almost daily for years. There’s a version using spent sourdough starter for flavor but try this one first. I use a 4 quart cast iron pot with a lid.

I started my dissertation in 1979 — that’s 46 years of bread procrastination so far! You keep writing. And baking. (Lol I’m at the store right now, King Arthur is the OG here.)
