Was recommended Seveneves about eight years ago, purchased it seven years ago, and only now finally mustered the motivation to read it. A really excellent piece of science fiction! And fun to describe to people as "What if the moon exploded?"

Today's kind of an exciting day. I am closing the chapter on my last journal and opening up a new one. I'm hoping it brings a metaphorical change in life chapters too, as I was stuck on the last journal for more than two years which feels like too long. Here's hoping it brings the growth I need :)

So lucky to get to see Vertical Horizon again! Easily in my top three favorite bands of all time.
Even picked up a little memento for myself. I don't have a record player but I like to pick up emotionally significant records when available :)

I think I learned a few new things about Affinity Designer today and ended up with this emblem I'm quite proud of! Reads 'FOXMARTEN', a request from my boyfriend ^w^.
Definitely going to be doing more of these, it was a blast to design!

For those that know me, I'm a bit of a pen appreciator. I picked up my first .28mm cartridge and WOW! it's already hard to find my preferred .38mm refills, but I am in love with how this .28 writes! If only it was a euro-style cartridge and fit my G2...

So I had a pretty exciting day. Got four hours into programming, came back to find a PSR turn into a console crash which is the first I've ever seen on MA2. Had to tear the thing open to reseat the GPUs. Hoping she holds for tomorrow but it was a rough day.

Day 1 of touring in Canada. We visited the "US Embassy" and I got my first venue buyout in CAD. Canadian money is way cool!
