not every Trump voter is a hateful bigot. there are a lot of people who don't have strong political opinions one way or the other and will vote for whoever tells them what they want to hear. writing them off is how you lose.

idk if that means struggling as a company per se, as the URL still makes them the default for the general public (theoretically a far more lucrative market than nerds who were on lichess already) and as tech has demonstrated they can push consumers pretty far. but yeah that's not great 😬
