New piece is live! It’s about second chances, backlogs, and the games that wait for the right version of us. Would love if you gave it a watch!
More games release daily than any of us could ever hope to play. The word "backlog" has become a regular part of our discourse.

@stacyongames.bsky.social argues, however, that our backlog is not a burden. Rather, loving a game is sometimes merely a matter of timing.

Ninja Gaiden is a storied IP.

For Ninja Gaiden 4, Team Ninja and Platinum Games team up and @theslayergiant.bsky.social says "...after more than a decade of dormancy, seeing Ninja Gaiden return with this much confidence feels triumphant."

Our review:

Old enough to remember CD demos of games that came with magazines. Kinda nice to see a rise in demos on Steam and other platforms again.

@teamcherry.bsky.social seems like a fun place to work! Making games should be fun.
I write a lot about miserable game development stories, so it sure was a pleasure to hear that one of the reasons Silksong took so long was that Team Cherry is having too much fun making it and didn't want to stop
