Today is a double book birthday for me, with the launch of both "The Warriors & Wizards Compendium" and "Stranger Things: Tales from the Table". This is an odd and frankly unlikely event that I'm nonetheless delighted to celebrate!

I've been hording this iconic gothy fabric since scoring it at a Las Vegas store almost two decades ago. Finally using it to make a vest for Zub - excited to make use of it & terrified I'm going to fuck it up.

At least on the subway, there are usually updates about delays. The bus text update system didn't warn me about the slowdown and then I got the classic "3 busses at once" experience (the first driver grilled me about "taking his picture" hence the 🙃).

Delightful! One of my neighbours has an elephant statue on his lawn and it always makes my day when I see it.

Naw, what they want is a medieval box bed lined in cushy velvet. Although I do agree with the anti-vampire advice, the seasonal clock changes are bad enough as a human.

Based on articles I've seen recently with Reese Witherspoon shilling for AI in films (she was a big NFT booster in 2021-22) and this fear-mongering bs, this post looks to have aged upsettingly well.

There was a cute moment during the @marthawells.com Q&A at #Worldcon yesterday when we started to hear someone softly snoring in our area of the audience. Confusion was quickly followed by muted giggles as we figured out the source.
