Just finished #TheGodoftheWoods by @lizmoorebooks.bsky.social and really enjoyed it! No loose plot threads, no “deus ex machina.” Which is more than I can say for some thrillers I’ve read. Whew! (I have a small quibble about the ending, but it was such a satisfying read that I didn’t really mind.)

Currently reading: THE DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY by Eric Larson. Late to the party, I know, but I've read all his other books, so it's time. Next up: THE DIG by John Preston. (Also not new. Is this a subtle plug for backlist books??)
