You need intermediaries to control the monetary system in order to redistribute wealth in democratic social policy. Intermediaries controlling the monetary system will always be at great risk of corruption than an open, uncensorable system in my opinion. But again that's my opinion.

I am not tether fan but I don't see how this precludes you from liquidating your bitcoin if you need to. It certainly would dramatically impact the USD price of Bitcoin if tether collapsed but you don't need tether to buy or sell Bitcoin.

Why not? There is approximately 2.3Trillion dollars of USD notes in circulation and yet the USD money supply is over 55Trillion. That's a lot of virtual currency.

I don't recommend trading Bitcoin. It's a suckers game. Either learn about it and own it for the long term understanding it will be highly volatile or focus on other things.

You should learn about Bitcoin before buying it. Otherwise you will just sell when the market inevitably corrects due to leverage and volatility.

Big Blue Jays fan. I was a flex pack holder for many years but we moved out of the city a few years back.
Not sure about Soto but hope the Blue Jays make some big additions this offseason.

Nostr is still mostly just bitcoiners unfortunately. I love Bitcoiners, I am one, but social media needs diverse communities and breadth of subject matter. This is why I was leading the charge on Stacker News to add more subs, which they did last December. Have you tried SN?

Pains me to admit but Kyler is playing the best football of his career. Zona, with a weak remaining schedule, can give the 49ers a run for the division if the 49ers don't get on track quick.
