I’m in an Uber at nearly 5pm with my kid, going to pick up her first car. She just sighed and said she will never drive in rush hour traffic. Gotta love the optimism, I guess.

Whenever I start a new job I get nervous that I don’t have the skills I need to do it. I assume these cabinet nominees do not have this same concern…although they should.

I walked by a guy in the grocery store with a lit cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I see everyone is doing well this week.

I guess if you’re enough of a criminal you can completely get away with it. You just really have to commit and have no moral compass at all because no one in a position to stop you will bother.

I went for my annual physical today. I love my doctor, she ordered titers so that I can make sure all my vaccinations are up to date. You know, just in case.

Exciting evening here, my brakes stopped working during rush hour on the freeway. I managed to get us safely off the exit and the car has been towed. Another good reason to not go places I can’t walk to.

My kid just informed me we are hosting Friendsgiving for 10 teenagers, Snoopy style! Toast, popcorn, jellybeans, and root beer floats. This was s awesome!

I get a little bummed out at this time of year, mostly wishing for unrealistic resolutions to things. So Sam and I headed out to see the town center lights. He was too busy sniffing to join me for a selfie.

I didn’t entirely realize how upset I have been since 11/5. Today is the first day i didn’t contemplate going to bed at noon. I might even cook tonight. DoorDash will miss me.

My newest client is a kava bar. After spending all my time working with corporate clients, this might be the highlight of my career. Not once have I had to remind their leaders that employees and customers are people.
