I think people are being a bit ungenerous about a throwaway story that follows an explanation that she was in the throes of postpartum anxiety and struggling to breastfeed. That’s a period rife with irrational thought!

It’s not. It’s anti the fantasy DNC that you have created in your mind. The idea the the democratic is some progressive force for good is just not borne up by any historical information. Its a fairytale

This is “not all men” for politics. At best useless waffle, at worst actively harmful because it allows people to avoid accountability for the actions of their own party.

This is just the no true Scotsman fallacy. The Democratic Party is full of people (including a lot in power) who hold regressive harmful views. Denying that is disrespectful to the people those views harm.

It's not some magical wonderland, the have people living below the poverty line. A welfare state doesn't fund itself, and it's not going to stop people losing their homes.
