I FINALLY finished these quilted place mats! I can't believe the last update on these was 5 months ago but to be fair half of that time was spent recovering from surgery. I'm proud with how they turned out! #quilt #quiltsky (Recipient's name redacted for privacy)

I went to the Stardew Valley Symphony of Seasons concert today and had a lovely time! My Krobus shirt had stains on it so I covered them up with cross stitched items from his shop. I am excited to do more cross stitch (and boot Stardew Valley back up again hehe).

It's hard to believe Phoenix Zine Fest is this weekend! I am excited to debut my two newest zines: "Lessons I've Learned From Sewing" and "Stace's Sketches 2024 Edition." I am vending on Saturday but will have these zines with me on Sunday!

I had to draw @paulinedrawsbears.bsky.social adorable mole traveler for her #DTIYS challenge. It was fun to make this! I asked some friends what bug they would be (I am the inch worm!).

A surprise portrait of an Imperial dragon named mir from Flight Rising! I received a comment that mir is a descendant of one of my dragons (by about 12 generations).

I DID IT!!! I got my sewing machine set up today and made my sewing room semi-functional. It was tough to not get caught up in doing more decluttering and organizing but... I really have missed sewing, and can work more on organizing in the future.

Eventually I want to upgrade my sewing chair.

I gave my partner their belated birthday present today! It is us as cats - we joke that they have orange cat energy and I have black cat energy. This was a fun project to draw and they loved it!

I usually find out about quilt shows after they happen, so hopefully this helps some AZ #quiltsky folks! Next week from August 28th-30th, Arizona Quilter's Guild will have an "Encore" show during the Quilt, Craft and Sewing Festival in Scottsdale!

Today is the 6 year anniversary of my first needle felted project - which was supposed to be a raven. Instead I made this adorable corvid that I lovingly dubbed Peck, who became a star for Inktober 2019 hehe.

Giving my chair thieving cat her own chair to sit on has worked out wonderfully.
