What a ride. Warbreaker was very refreshing and my first standalone cosmere story outside of Mistborn and Stormlight Archive. I unsurprisingly loved every moment of it. RoW was an absolute beast and finishing it only made me more eager to get into book 5 right away tho I might need a break first 😅

I also couldn’t NOT mention Glory Hounds by Redd and @sabrewulf.bsky.social . A breath of fresh air amidst superhero stories with none of the dry self awareness or gritty realism that infects so much of the genre. A campy, hysterically funny comedy that is also an unabashed celebration of queerness.

Last of all from Echo Project is McSkinny’s A Role to Play. After loving his work on Echo, I was excited to see what he had next. And even after one WIP I’m already impressed. A slice of life story following a tabletop group with pertinent themes of recovery and growth. I can’t wait for more.
