A database with millions of entries would give far more power. What often happens now is that there is a single entry of a rare genotype, and the potential associated diagnoses could then simply be coincidental.

The UK biobank is amazing (and the user friendly Genebass interface to explore potential genotype-diagnosis links is very nice).

The size might however be limiting with about 300K sequences linked to patient records. Ideally, we should have an EU-wide database based on the UK biobank model.

Om jag hade pengar över skulle jag gärna köpa en sådan där färg e-ink platta som visst skall kännas som att skriva på papper.

Mina anteckningar på möten etc mår bäst av den kaotiska fri-formen man får med penna och papper. De gånger jag försökt knappa in saker så distraherar det mer än det hjälper.
