I think it's bad business and irresponsible but it makes sense if your goal is "just explosive market shakers". If it comes out with no positivity and not a strong up trend, why would they waste another dime if this is their only goal? Already super rare to make one of these let alone a comeback.

They cost more but Enterprise is the way to go. Ive only had one slight complaint with them before and they paid for our gas because of it.

This sounds like a nightmare to have to confirm it is working lol. At least with it helping in writing human readable you can actually look at it and fix it. This would just be people having to try to decompile this shit or engineers spending hours and hours testing basically black box code lol.

Lol had a similar experience recently. I had said "If I were you I'd <insert whatever I was talking about>".

Is there similar data from the 360/PS3 Gen on this?
Curious if this was the case even then? It certainly felt like a handful of games dominated play time back then as well (for example: CoD, Halo, and a handful of sports games on console and WoW, League, CS, etc. on PC)?

My guess is some of it is that this wasn't an issue for people a couple days ago. They didn't notice and never would have.
No reason to not report things but also I get it if people are just trying to enjoy their new (& expensive) stuff.

Wait isn't the current us to cad conversion 1:1.36? If so wouldn't that mean that at $100 CAD it is about $8 cheaper in Canada?
Also tax in US is applied at point of sale as well but it is about half the rate.

Are you or @matpiscatella.bsky.social able to elaborate on why the price isn't already raised? I thought the 145% was already in affect? Wouldn't this mean the console manufacturers are actively losing a crap ton of money? Or are they trying to wait it out a bit with already imported stock?

Interested in that first bullet pt. Level scaling enemies in shooters can sometimes lead to the game just feeling inconsistent. I.e. "this sniper just one shot the exact same looking enemy a few min ago. Why did it take x more shots for this one?"

Super excited for this but do you think it's weird or concerning that they sort of just unceremoniously dropped this? Or are we just seeing another change in how these companies market games?

I genuinely wasn't sure if it was a 2 or 3 remaster (I only ever played the first so I don't know those games). But nothing about it screamed "new" to me. Still looks cool but idk, I expected more from it for some reason.
