I won't tolerate ad hominem attacks, but at what point do we expect NSWE to step in & put things right? Emery has been floundering since the Man Utd game. Is this acceptable? Are we progressing? Or are we conflating stagnation with some kind of paranoid FA/UEFA red tape? I think we're fucked. #AVFC

The drop in quality from Emi Martinez over the last year or so has been remarkable. And I know that could sound like sour grapes. But anyone who denies or fails to see this probably hasn't been paying that much attention. We got the best of him. #AVFC

Is anyone else just fed up with referees being given this much attention? They're utterly ridiculous people whose sense of self importance has been allowed to grow into whatever monstrosity the PGMOL is. It's not an overstatement to say that they're ruining football #AVFC #VAR

Anyone else feeling like Villa's progress has been so aggressively stymied by financial constraints, that now we're stuck in a 3 or 4 year rut? We shot out of the blocks under Emery but the damage had already been done, we're just feeling it now. I don't know. I'm genuinely worried #AVFC

I think today was a painful lesson in the importance of patience. There were problems all over the pitch and it really hurts to drop points this early, but the season is long. And we'll pick up points in unexpected places as we go. Let's back Unai and the lads, that's all we can do. UTFV 🫡 #AVFC
