No- the reverse. People with cars have more leisure opportunities and so are more likely to substitute away from football- this was in fact the opinion expressed at the time, but the data could confirm/reject

I'm interested in impact of TV on football attendance in England in the 1950s and 60s- I have data by county, but I want also to control for the impact of vehicle ownership. back then the govt did not pulbish statistics by county, but registrations were issued by county- recorded in this book

economists for years have written papers purporting to show that players "shirk" or otherwise undersupply effort. This is bad science that does nobody any good

This is also high level trolling. Sulla was the first Roman to march on Rome and seize power, in 88 BCE. On leaving Rome, Cinna was elected consul and prosecuted Sulla for his crimes, supported by Marius. There were executions but not proscriptions akin to those when Sulla regained power in 82 BCE.
