How could Pete Hegseth do so many bad things simultaneously?

I am a former registered republican, currently not registered with any political party. I believe I’m an objective and open minded person, and will certainly change my beliefs if faced with compelling evidence.

For my first post on here, I’d like to publicly declare my support for nuclear energy. I am certainly no expert in the field, but what other carbon-free energy source can match nuclear energy in scale, consistency, and, most importantly, safety? I see no other alternative at the moment.
