Venom and Venom War by Al Ewing

This run is kinda messy, yet I love it. Ewing is great at taking a character's full history and making a self reflective story with a really good theme, but this time he takes a more self aware yet fascinating sci-fi approach to it. It's so stupid yet so endearing

Devil May Cry (PS2)

I think I appreciate this game for being a very simple action game with an amazing atmosphere. Also the visuals in this game are so crazy for an early PS2 game. This game is awesome if you aren't a bitch and complain how simple it is gameplay wise

Red Hulk by Benjamin Percy

While not my favorite book by Percy, I do really appreciate this tie in being a modern character exploration for a character that seems to have significance in the next few years of Marvel with how this series ended. Definitely fun blockbuster story

I actually did the second Nemo Angelo fight without any items and it was the most satisfying thing ever. The third fight though I wish wasn’t a little ridiculous on the range but at least I had like 4 holy waters

Kamiya knew that he had to get the composer to make a banger theme for his definitely not shadow-moon original character

Also one thing I realized is how attack/enemy tracking works in the game feels kinda in line with how targeting enemies in the original RE games was like

I've only played the dmc trilogy through re releases on 360 and PS4 but never the original versions, and I'm kinda curious myself on how they would feel. Also want to see the cutscenes in their original glory
