I've been watching Pat's show since high school, I graduated as an investigative prosecutor with hours of criminal gabitoscopy courses under my belt and I can't tell. This upsets me greatly.

Which DOES NOT mean you should just eat whenever after couple days of deficit because it feels uncomfortable and you want more, mind you 😏

Seriously though, less fat you have - the harder it is to keep reducing it. Prolonged deficit is a stress that leads to fluid retention and makes our bodies very unwilling to reduce any fat tissue further. And there's not many ways to combat this stress other than increasing cal intake for a time.

And yes - perseverance and tolerance are qualities that build up overtime.
Rushing and bruteforcing usually brings diminishing returns, or lack of returns at all.
In worst cases - injuries and burnouts.
