I’ve been a big fan of the Howl’s Moving Castle movie and finally read the original novel by Dianne Wynne Jones and 10/10 highly recommended very cozy even though it has some conflict background setting. Many little details changed by Miyazaki that give a slightly different flavour

Hey I realised the other day that Panhead Supercharger is actually way cheaper now than it was 10 years ago, especially when you consider inflation! I’ve seen it at $11 at a bunch of bars and restaurants lately 😂

It really is quite amazing when you realise how granular the level of different boards and representative stuff that exist at the local government level. Sometimes I learn about a board or whatever and I’m like huh, you could live somewhere your whole life and never even know these roles existed lol

Once I wondered like how did they decide to call them watermelons and apparently people genuinely used to grow them as a method of storing water over dry seasons which feels like something a kid would make up and try convince you was true lmao
