In the Bay Area, I used to run into actual Stalinists, but even that was like "okay, buddy." Not meaningful. If you're letting it stop you from "doing leftist organizing," you're either completely internet-poisoned and were never going to do anything real, or weren't a leftist in the first place.

Soooooo… where can I connect with some CA Bay Area leftists that wanna do more than just read theory. Quoting Marx to people isn’t gonna cut it anymore I wanna connect with people that actually want to do something.
