Thanks mystery bird that I just happened upon today. I needed this blast from the past. Hard to be in a bad mood while listening. Heck, it was so effective, I'm not even creeped out by the ghoulish, garish 75.

Finally noticed your reply all these months later! Thx for explaining.

The moths are cool, but it's still disappointing. I dont like our rufous hummingbirds' bad attitudes, but I live to see them and their iridescent feathers.

I'm almost certain that's a hummingbird moth or hawkmoth (Hyles). Look at its head. I have them frequently in my yard. But still fun to see! See this video www.reddit.com/r/moths/s/nl...

This is cool and really great, but what do you mean by "swarm-repelling"?

Oh I love that color! Never seen that variety before.

What do you do with those little aubergines? I have a volunteer plant that is producing nicely, but I'm not sure what do with them. I know I can google it, but asking you, fellow gardener.

I just learned something this summer while visiting Ontario. People used to have celery vases to show off their fancy stalks. I had no idea. You might consider that for your lovely crop!

Agree, that's annoying. But my family invented a name for a dinner when everyone has to fend for themselves. They can eat whatever, whenever. We call it "Hob Podge". Makes no sense, I know.

Same. Additionally, I will not read titles with prepositional phrases or those with possession. If Shakespeare came back to life and wrote "The Martian's Wife on a Spaceship" and someone gave it to me, I'd burn it. And I'm a book hoarder.

I love this idea AND that's a great collection. I'm betting you have more books, tho. A lot more.

I drove across town earlier. Mag chloride was on all the arterials and collector roads. Even local roads in my neighborhood were sprayed! I got back an hour ago, and roads were fine even tho it was snowing. The sidewalks and driveways are dangerous. I just watched a kid slide down his driveway.

What the heck? I didn't know about it either and found this. www.atlasobscura.com/foods/bollud... Why HAVEN'T they advertised this!? Most kids would get behind (haha) this tradition indeed.
